The financial performance and activities of Veritas Pension Insurance are developing positively. We manage the pension assets entrusted to us in a secure manner as one of our core tasks. In 2007, Veritas Pension Insurance made the best investment result within the employment pension branch. Our solvency is strong, and we are increasingly cost-effective in all our operations. In the future, we aim to develop our operations to further improve our efficiency, but never at the cost of personal customer service.

Veritas Pension Insurance has an efficient network with long-term co-operating partners. We consistently upgrade our service models and co-operation concept to ensure further improvements in our customer service and growth opportunities. We co-operate among others with Aktia Life Insurance, Aktia Non-Life Insurance, Aktia Bank and the Local Cooperative Bank.

We respond to challenges through the development of our competences

Our task is to provide, through statutory pension schemes, basic security to the employees of our corporate customers, as well as, to self-employed persons.

The employment pension branch has undergone major changes over recent years. The new Employees Pensions Act (TyEL) that entered into force on 1 January 2007 enables employers to centralise statutory pension schemes for all employee groups to Veritas Pension Insurance. To respond to these changes, we have invested in the development of our organisation and the competences of our staff. Further, we aim to more extensively develop various employment pension services related to pension insurance.

We provide personal, professional and comprehensive service in all employment pension matters. We also offer our corporate customers a special work wellness programme to support the working capacity of their employees.

Our competence is founded on a longterm experience in the insurance business. Veritas Pension Insurance is one of the oldest insurance companies in Finland. We have experience in providing statutory employment pension insurances since the relevant laws became effective.
