Veritas will pay client bonuses to its customers in April. The client bonus will be taken into account as a discount on the TyEL insurance contribution invoice in April.
Client bonuses are based on the solvency capital of the earnings-related pension insurance company.
“Due to good investment returns, our solvency capital in euro increased and our solvency ratio strengthened during 2025. As a result, the total amount of client bonuses in euro also increased from the level in 2024”, says Teppo Rakkolainen, Chief Actuary at Veritas.
Client bonuses are paid to TyEL customers whose TyEL insurance policy was valid on 31 December 2025 and who have at least one employee insured under that policy. The amount of the bonus is determined by the amount of TyEL insurance contributions paid by your company and the duration of the customer relationship with Veritas.
“It pays to have a long customer relationship, as each customer accrues a fund over time that directly reduces their TyEL contributions. The longer a company is a customer of Veritas and the higher its payroll, the larger the bonus deducted from its insurance contributions,” says Linda Mattsson, TyEL Product Manager at Veritas.
The amount of the client bonus can be checked from Veritas’ online service. The information can be found in the summary of payments under the “Insurance details” section starting from 9 April.
If the client bonus cannot be deducted from the TyEL contribution, it will be paid in cash to the customer’s bank account.
“For the possible payment of the client bonus or refunds of insurance contributions, we need customers to provide a valid bank account number. The bank account number can be securely submitted under ‘Messages and activities’ in our online service.”
