Why is Veritas asking me to provide proof of identity or to check my company information?

Veritas has a statutory obligation to know and identify its customers. We ask you to provide certain information when you become our customer and occasionally throughout the customer relationship. By answering our questions, you will be helping us to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing.

Keeping information up to date helps us to serve you better.

We will ask you to provide information about

  • the persons responsible for your company and company’s beneficial owners
  • the nature and, when necessary, the extent of your business activities.

How do I check my company information?

If Veritas requests that you check your company information, log in to the online service. Click on the “Review the information” link found at the top of the page.

If the information is correct, simply confirm that you have checked it and you’re done.

If anything needs to be updated, you can make the necessary changes right away. Also remember to report any changes to the Finnish Trade Register.
