Case register

Veritas’ case register is a register of initiated cases, processing phases and related information and documents. The register stores the initiation date for each case. In terms of electronic submissions, it is the date of on which the document arrives and, for documents sent by mail, it is the date of the postal stamp. For documents received from other sources, for example, for applications from Kela, the time stamp from Kela serves as the arrival time.

From each document, the register stores the information necessary for and related to the processing of the case in question, such as personal information and the submission data. The processing of personal data is described in Veritas’ privacy policy. The different processing phases for each case are tracked in the information systems. Documents are saved and stored in Veritas’ archive in the manner and for the time period specified by law.

It is possible to search for information from the case registers on the basis of the insurance policy number, a business ID, a personal ID or the name of the policyholder/insured/beneficiary.
