Jussi Häkkinen, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed as the new Sustainability Manager at Veritas. Häkkinen comes to the position from Danske Bank, where he worked as the Chief ESG Analyst, responsible for the integration of ESG perspectives in the investment processes and decisions for all asset classes.
“Corporate responsibility is an essential and important part of a pension insurance company’s activities. I am pleased to have Jussi join our team to further strengthen Veritas’ sustainability work,” says Kari Vatanen, Chief Investment Officer at Veritas.
Häkkinen has previously worked as a Portfolio Manager and Responsible Investment Advisor for the State Pension Fund of Finland. He has a total of 17 years of work experience in investing and more than 10 years of experience as an institutional investor in international portfolio management.
